RAD Electronics, Inc. introduces its NEW line of communication helmets and available intercom systems designed for the ultralight, microlight and experimental pilots for flying boat and FIB.

Intercoms
This is what you've been waiting for! RAD Electronics, Inc. is introducing a intercom system that combines a large number of options into one box, while the circuitry employs a unique noise-suppression feature to greatly reduce unwanted background noise. The new TAC-100 Intercom can be purchased alone or with helmets and/or headsets.

Helmets
These helmets offer quality electronics including speakers, microphone and boom assembly. Inner liners are designed to pull perspiration away for greater comfort. Liquid filled ear cups are comfortable, and reduce noise. All helmets include front ventilation for front-air flow. These helmets are compatible with single-plug systems, and may be ordered with "general aviation Style" dual plugs. Helmets are available in Red, White, Blue and Black. Sizes are Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large.

Headsets
RAD Electronics introduces their new headset Model RAD 100.
Headset can be purchased alone or as a set. This headset employs a single plug design, while it uses a high noise dynamic microphone. This headset is compatible with past and current single plug units on the market. The units can be ordered as a single-plug system or as a dual-plug, general aviation system with either an amplified dynamic or electreic microphone. Liquid-filled ear cushions come as a standard option for a positive ear seal. (Foam ear pads also available upon request). The ear cups can be adjusted individually. The headset comes in black, but other colors can be special-ordered.

Dual Headset/Helmet Systems
Each system comes with intercom, and two helmets or headsets. This "instructor package" is cheaper than purchasing each item separately.

RAD Electronics helmets employ a single plug design (may be ordered with a dual plug for GA type intercoms) for less cable hookups within the cockpit. They are light in weight, very comfortable, and use a 'high noise' dynamic microphone and liquid filled ear-cups, allowing long enjoyable flights with low noise. Compatible with past and current single plug systems on the market. Ear-cups can be adjusted individually if desired.

Helmets are available in four different sizes and four different colors. For use with transceivers pick the appropriate adaptor below. RAD intercoms may be used with standard Push-To-Talk switches, or single plug units. Sizing refers to cap size.

Also included in this package is the popular RAD Intercom unit, with 12 volt external power cord. The intercom has dual volume and squelch controls for both pilot and passenger.
